Nate, a pawsome snuggler, is a boy so named for his beauty mark a la Cindy Crawford. S this very handsome and energetic 3y boy Nate (Nathan) lives in a small apartment and has to share it w/ his mommy, other cats and foster kittens. NOT to his liking! He'd be so much happier if he could only be 1 of 1 or 2 cats. He runs on one of those big wheels for cats (like hamsters) to burn some of his energy. He'd love a home w/ a catio ideally or at least some nice viewing spots of the outdoors he'd probably love to be part of. He's pretty good w/ cats and dogs but the fewer the better:) Please apply, he's a handsome boy who deserves a bigger space and more attention

All our cats are in the NY area and can be adopted out of state. We do like to meet you so plan on picking up; if flying, in cabin only; in some cases we will help with transport.

Please note: kittens MUST be adopted in pairs or to households with age appropriate cat(s) to ensure proper socialization and companionship. NO exceptions! If you would prefer a solo cat, we are happy to recommend cats who would do best as solos. Cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/Felv tested, FVRCP and Rabies vaxed, and microchipped.

Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent--please ask by writing us at cats@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application by Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too. Please come! And if you can't adopt, you can perhaps foster, volunteer, and of course, you can always donate!
