New girl on the ZFF block, poor Medusa's purrson passed away and had no provisions for her kitty! Medusa is understandably scared at the moment. She is 7y, 7+lbs, a Bombay with big green eyes and a tripod kitty. We do not know why she had a leg amp but it is not recent and she gets around fine (in fact she is very fast!). She is Chick Pea's sister but can go to a home with another nice cat if not with him. Please apply if you have a soft spot for black tripods with big green eyes:)

All our cats are in the NY area and can be adopted out of state. We do like to meet you so plan on picking up; if flying, in cabin only; in some cases we will help with transport.

Please note: kittens MUST be adopted in pairs or to households with age appropriate cat(s) to ensure proper socialization and companionship. NO exceptions! If you would prefer a solo cat, we are happy to recommend cats who would do best as solos. Cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/Felv tested, FVRCP and Rabies vaxed, and microchipped.

Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent--please ask by writing us at cats@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application by Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too. Please come! And if you can't adopt, you can perhaps foster, volunteer, and of course, you can always donate!
