These 3 need new names and a new home! Larry, Moe and Curly (ick, doesn't do them justice!). These affectionate little boyz are about 2mos now and only adoptable in pairs or to homes with other baby cats. Please apply if you have kitten experience and want all 3 or at least 2 of them--must stay in NYC.

LARRY: This beautiful two-toned silver baby with the dark green eyes will be a gentle giant when he grows up. Larry rarely uses his soft meow, but his loud purr can be felt/heard the moment he sees your hand hovering towards him. He is extraordinarily affectionate. This little guy is the leader of the litter.
MOE: “Moe” is a misnomer – the shelter should have named him “Sweetie Pie.” This charming little grey and white boy with the light green eyes is a true cuddle bug. He would happily snuggle and purr in your arms for hours at a time. Moe is the tender, soft one of the litter, although he has no problem holding his own when roughhousing with his siblings.
CURLY: Who doesn’t love a silver tabby? Curly has it all: exceptional smarts, stunning looks, and best of all, a marvelous personality. If you like a cat that talks, Curly is your man. He says hello the moment you wake up in the morning, greets you at the door, and has a habit of walking over to speak to his person throughout the day. He is a kind-hearted soul through and through.
Favorite activities include:
Wrestling with one another and attacking their tails. Moe and Curly tails have white tips
Playing with toys, boxes, and any other object that catches their eye
Leaping from furniture
Belly rubs
Chasing their tails – the tips of Moe and Curly’s tails are white
Snuggling and kissing their foster mom thinks they won’t have any issues in that area.
Note: This litter has been fostering in a home without coronavirus/COVID-19. Testing paperwork is available.

All our cats are in the NY area and can be adopted out of state. We do like to meet you so plan on picking up; if flying, in cabin only; in some cases we will help with transport.

Please note: kittens MUST be adopted in pairs or to households with age appropriate cat(s) to ensure proper socialization and companionship. NO exceptions! If you would prefer a solo cat, we are happy to recommend cats who would do best as solos. Cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/Felv tested, FVRCP and Rabies vaxed, and microchipped.

Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent--please ask by writing us at cats@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application by Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too. Please come! And if you can't adopt, you can perhaps foster, volunteer, and of course, you can always donate!
